How long has it been going on Sasa?

My dd had a really bad cold/throat for the last week or two but seems to be comoing out of it now. She also went right off her food but that's natural - think about how you feel when you're full of cold and your throat hurts. So long as baby is getting plenty of fluids and is not seeming miserable/drowsy all the time I would just ride it out.

Our GP gave us some nasal drops to clear dd's blocked nose. He said antibiotics would be a waste of time as they don't work on colds. I tend to agree and was glad not to take them.

I guess with your sister's baby though, it depends on what's really going on and for how long.

DD has also started grinding her teeth a bit - but that's because she's only just got her top teeth so she's just trying out how they feel against her bottom teeth - I think it's just a new feeling for her. (She's 10 mothns.

Why did you think about worms? I don't see how that could be a cause.

My DD2 has ground her teeth for as long as I can remember, It has affected her milk teeth as she ground the tops away on her molars. We are currently waiting to see if she will need some sort of teeth shield to wear at night to protect her emerging ault tyeeth. Hopefully she my grow out of it.

Maybe with your DN it's the feeling of new teeth and he may well grow out of it.
