Absolute despair. She's 7, and refuses to go to bed.

She's crying her eyes out. We've taken her swimming, followed by tennis, and now she wants to play a game. And won't go to bed.

physically take her.

SenoraPostrophe · 29/10/2005 21:39

yup, that's what I'd do. and keep taking her back if she leaves the room.

nutcackle · 29/10/2005 21:41

Yep keep taking her back, she'll give up eventually.

hallowcarla · 29/10/2005 21:43

H's just done that. Why is it though, when she's the most tired out of the two of them, that she flatly refuses to go to bed? We stupidly give them the option of 'whose turn is it tonight to get first into bed'.

God, we're crap.

Because she's a kid and tired kids especially are unreasonable. I dont' think you should give a little child options when it comes to bed, except which bedtime story they get.

Does anyone else feel that during half term, their whole house crumbles? I haven't been able to get the hoover out, life revolves around their every need .... and I love them more than anything ... but can't do anything except revolve around them.
