Can I give Calpol - Advice please?

My 12 year old DSD is having one of her baby teeth removed at the dentist today so that her adult tooth has a chance of coming through straight.

The appointment is for 3.45 and I'm meeting her from school at 3.10. Would it be ok to give her dose of calpol to help numb the pain and discomfort that she'll be in after? Or shall we just wait until we get home? Thanks.

They'll probably give her an injection to numb the site anyway, I would wait and take the dentist's advice.

I had loads of my baby & a couple of adult teeth out to make room (small jaw, big teeth) when I was 11 - 14 and actually it didn't hurt that much! Just make sure she has a hand to hold and you have some tissues handy for after, sometimes you can end up drooling a bit afterwards!
