I have galacteria... breasts that produce milk when not breast feeding. If it's not due to some medication I've taken or some hormonal imbalance, I may have a brain tumour. Heeeellllp!

Bromocriptine made me feel nauseous and had to take a bucketful each time - am now on Cabergoline - much better.

aloha · 18/10/2005 21:45

Mary Tudor had this. Made her think she was pregnant. Very sad. Even if she was a bloodthirsty loon.

Blandmum · 18/10/2005 21:46

But galactorhoea and being a bloodthirsty loon are not causaly linked

Mum2girls · 18/10/2005 21:47

yes, cos your periods disappear too (that's the only advantage)

allhallows · 18/10/2005 21:47

Through the eye?! OMG!

Honestly sweetheart, the vast majority of cases never need surgery. Please don't get yourself wound up about this. many cases even get better on their own. This is not the cancer of the brain thing, it really isn't

hunkerpumpkin · 18/10/2005 21:49

AH, please try not to worry until you have something concrete to worry about - which you may never do, so all the worrying you're doing now may well be for nothing.

I really honestly don't mean that unkindly, so please don't take it the wrong way.

Bloody internet can be a dangerous thing when it comes to researching health problems

And if you do keep worrying (as I would - it's a kind of job for me, worrying about things ), I don't blame you, but I will have to hug you, OK? xxxxxx

Mum2girls · 18/10/2005 21:50

yes, the eye thing made me squirm a bit

allhallows · 18/10/2005 21:51

Okay. I'll get a grip. But meds won't work for me, I know it. I can't even take a mini pill, i'm that sensitive. If I were some bimbo modelling for a calendar, I'd be delighted but as it is...

Anyway, many thanks for your kind words.

Really wasn't telling you to get a grip - God knows, I'd be worried too. Honestly, I worry about everything - I have to make myself stop sometimes.

{{{{{{AllHallows}}}}}}}}

See, I told you I'd have to hug you

Mum2girls · 18/10/2005 21:56

yes another plus - I actually had a cleavage (albeit a leaky one)

allhallows · 18/10/2005 21:58

You'd have a lot to hug in RL!

The meds are not the same hormones as in the pill btw

hunkerpumpkin · 18/10/2005 22:07

Perhaps we'd have to shake hands then, AH - I have a bump and 34Gs myself

allhallows · 18/10/2005 22:10

we'd be like a couple of great big pillows... boiing!

hunkerpumpkin · 18/10/2005 22:22

allhallows · 18/10/2005 22:26
