Hi, my dd and ds are friends with another sister and brother at school, they are in the same classes and often play at each others houses, etc. My friends two have both gone down with a sickness bug, and having gone through my fair share of throwing up over the past few months, I would hate them to come down with it, especially as I have an 18 month old dd as well. Is there anything I can do/give them to boost their immune systems or do you think it's too late?

I would probably ask this question too?

My kids so far have been fine (touch wood) they have been taking vitamin c tablets (although not religiously) and always make sure they have plenty of sleep and wash their hands hell of a lot.

Hope this helps.

I think its probably too late to do anything about it. Sorry - not what you wanted to hear.

Well they do say prevention is better than cure-dont they?

Not particularly got any advice on this subject really, but like crazydazy suggests-maybe vitamins will prevent attacks fo sickness.

Not sure whether you can get a kids version of Enchinacea or lapacho, but they are both immune boosters & may protect against viruses.

Try asking your pharmacist about these.
Hope Ive been of help to you.
