cramped nerve or RSI? Could also be a slight sprain (ligament injury, nothing but time cures those).
Does it hurt to brush your teeth or type things?
My RSI gets worse in the cold (with cold weather). You could try wearing gloves, keeping your hands/wrists from getting chilled, that might help.

I had a similar thing about 10 years ago and it turned out to be connected to a back problem - I had partially slipped a disc in the cervical spine. My doc referred me for physio which did the trick.

Tingly pain in your hand & wrist could be carpal tunnel syndrome - I had this while pg - had to sleep in verrrry sexy wrist splints!

It might be worth trying a physio first if you don't want to see your GP. Good luck!

ainsmum, aren't they special? DP used to think it was hilarious and often received a clout from one of them. How gorgeous and glowing I was in my baggy nightie and splints, feeling sick and grumpy - any man's dream!

I only had the CT while pregnant, the day after DS was born I suddenly realised that my hands felt 'normal' again! I remember one night, went for a wee at about 30 weeks, got the velcro all stuck to the baggy nightie and had to yell for help!
