GO!!!!

When you've been here a bit longer and gotten fed up of me moaning about how I never get a proper break from caring for Nemo, you'll wish you went.

You missed you day and if DH says he's happy for you to go tomorrow (not that you need his permission) then go.

JazzieB will be grand missing his swimming lesson thingy, and what's stopping you taking him another day, to the leisure centre?

Go. Have some time to yourself.

I know you feel a bit weird or guilty and you'll miss them but you need this.

Take the opportunity to have some you time away from the house.

You'll feel so much more human again! Grin

Mouseface · 20/02/2011 18:08

Jazzie ignore Mouse she is just being a martyr as usual Wink Grin

I would go, it sounds like you have a really busy schedule with BabyJ it will do him good to spend some time with his Daddy. Best thing I did (not that I had the choice) was to go back to work when DS was 5m.

Not only did it give me some child free time but as DH and I work around each other DH got to know pretty quickly that if he came home to a bombsite with us both in our PJ's it wasn't because I was a lazy cow it was because babies are bloody hard work!!

Plus once they are a bit older I genuinely think they need time to be bored. My two have been left to amuse themselves for a time since they were tiny.

The result is that my two can play nicely together without direct supervision and I never hear 'I'm bored'.

My sister has taken her two from one activity to the next from the word go and they just don't know how to make up a game or use their imagination.

Sorry, turning into a soap box rant. In no way am I criticising you! I should have done more with DS if only to have stopped me being so bloody lonely!
