Paying Privately For Vacciness EXPAT?

Sorry, didn't want to ask this on Amyjades thread! If you don't mind me asking, which vaccines do you pay for privately that we don't get on the NHS???

I follow the American Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidlines for childhood immunisations (posted a link to it on Amyjade's thread). There are several vaccines that are routine offered for children in the US that are not routinely offered here, so I have paid for them privately.

With the exception of varicella/chickenpox.

I also buy thiomersal-free flu jabs from a private clinic yearly. £15/jab.

I had no idea that the UK was still using thiomersal in jabs - I assumed it was banned everywhere - and inadvertently had my DD vaccinated w/a DPT jab containing the substance. She has unexplained delays in meeting milestones. I'll forever wonder whether these are related to mercury used in jabs on children.
