I was eating my tea - chicken kebab, etc, and now it's GONE

It was a crown, I think (I have so many rotten teeth) and there is just a bit left in the gum. About 5th back from the front.

It's GONE!

Do I have to find it?

No, you can have another one made.

Thanks, that is good news! Didn't fancy the alternative!

Yet more money though Sad

You've probably broken most of the tooth off inside the crown. You can only have another one made if there is enough tooth left, no root fracture etc.

Oh No! WHat does that mean then? Will I have to have it extracted? But there's not much to get hold of.

Scary

was it root filled? They might just have to drill it out.

One of my wisdom teeth shattered a couple of years ago, only about 1/3 of the external tooth was left, but that extracted quite easily (thank goodness!)

If you can find the crown, they might be able to do something with it - but of course if you've swallowed it it's going to be a bit buggered even if you do get it back...

It depends on whether sorting through your own poo is worth a couple of hundred pounds - Dh's crown fell out Friday night and he has it - he is seeing dentist tomorrow afternoon in London and they said they could stick it back in and also if he didn't have it there would be a delay in making another so would have to have a temporary one whilst it was made.

thumb and wooly that's what I don't fancy - trying to find it

I think it's going to be the £200 option. Or be gummy Grin

Luck you if you can get a crown for £200. They are £550 where I work.

OMG! Is that NHS?

Think I will be sporting the Clampit look for a while.
