When my DTs were in NICU the midwives gave them antibiotics by putting straight into the teat of a bottle whilst they were sucking.

I tickle her under the chin till she's swallowed it all - seems to induce a swallowing action.

Even though ds showed no interst in a dummy, he did like the medicine dispenser dummy, available from mothercare- its good, really.

We also bought small plastic syringue type things from chemist.
Worked a treat.

Are you sorted now ?

syringes are great, no mess and aimed at side and a little bit back in mouth, thay have to swallow or drown

Get a medicine dropper at the chemist. You squeeze the rubber bulb at the top of the tub to suck up the meds. Found it better than a syringe as the syringe has quite a sharp end, whereas the dropper is rounded.
