Bleeding PILES - Please help.

I have bleeding piles before but this time I have to wear a panty liner as the bleeding does not stop. It's not hravy or anything but in the past I would bleed as I passed a difficult stool and that was pretty much the end of it. This time I had very painful piles (external and internal) and went to doc. SHe didn't examine me just gave prescription. I was not bleeding at that time. Sure enough the next time I use the loo the bleeding started. The piles themselves are hurting a lot lot less. I have used Anusol pessary and cream and it seems to have done the trick.

I think I am more worried than anything. Why is the bleeding not stopping. Grateful for tips or reassurance.

Will try to get doc apt tomorrow.

How much are you bleeding? It can continue for a few days. As long as it's not copious amounts.

Are you taking a stool softener as any further hard stools will just start things off again? You need some lactulose or dulcolax.

Took some senocot which worked a treat. It's not much really but I need a panty liner. I am a real worrier. The strange thing is that the pain is so much better. Almost 90% improved.

Thanks for the reassurance.

I'm glad the pain is better.

Try to get a stool softener, as senocot is a stimulant laxative.

Try to adjust your diet and drink plenty of water.

I had this on Xmas eve, since having my dd not been the same, well... I got the runs shall we say, and it kicked them off

All I can recommend is sudocrem for them, seriously helped them, within about 1 day much better, obviously only the external ones x

Thanks. Been to Doc and they are external thrombosed piles ruptured. Should shrivel up she said but things can set them off. Spicy food for example - bummer - I love spicey food.

Currently taking a softner and drinking lots of water. Still slight bleed.
