Aching bones and cold weather

I have horrible aches in every bone that I have ever broken (toes and fingers mainly). Its fierce with the cold weather. Does anyone know if this is normal, or indicative of arthritis? (I'm 41 otherwise healthy, if a bit anemic).

I know what you mean! I broke my pelvis and right wrist, at different times, and they do ache at the moment, I am 39, it feels as though all the ligaments and muscles are all really achey too. I find stretching helps, well my hip anyhow and keeping them warm. I am not sure what the science is behind cold and the aching bone?!?

I have been told I might need a hip resurfacing or replacement if is gets too bad when I am older - I was horrified.

hi Im 54 and my wrists elbows and shoulders are aching like mad. I thought it was strange as it is equal on both sides. I am taking diclofenac for something else and it is not helping at all.

If it helps, having recently smashed my hand, I've been told by Drs and physios that it will always ache in the cold, so is obv a well known thing

Ok well it is sounding common and normal if generally unavoidable. Thanks everyone.
