I'm wondering how much egg white discharge is normal when ovulating (mid cycle)? I seem to get a lot. Does anyone know medically speaking why some women would have more discharge than others?

I always had a lot. Each month, at its peak,(TMI alert) it would drip into the loo when I sat on it, and I had to wear pantie liners I could change regularly.

On the plus side, I could never miss when I was ovulating, and managed to conceive three children pretty much when I wanted them.

Thank you butterbur we are just the same then in that respect. Also need a panty liner and drip into toilet. And very easily conceived both children!

i thought the actual egg was only about the size of a full stop? can you really see it?? that's cool!

Elibean · 15/12/2010 18:39

No, you can't see the egg. Need microscope for that.

PortlyBlackSantaUpAChimney · 15/12/2010 18:49

Oh - i always assumed it was - as it sat so prettily in there. A red dot with little veins coming out of it - every month about 10 days before AF.

TheFarSide · 15/12/2010 18:58

Oh God I have red veiny thing. I feel like a chicken hatching now.

thisisyesterday · 15/12/2010 19:22
