Hello
I'll be brief. I need help with stress/urge incontinence/vaginal laxity following the birth 8 years ago. Husband left before having sex again, failed sexually disasterous relationship since. Vaginal laxity, current surgeon says not life threatening, but causing me huge emotional problems - holding off on a further relationship as I feel so undesirable.
Can anyone recommend a sympathetic good surgeon? I have health insurance. Feeling very lost.
Thank you for your help

Just wanted to express sympathy. Can't your GP help? Mind you, went to mine because since having DD 10+ years ago developed delightful line in uncontrollable farting. He sent me to local hospital (Kingston)but only interested in urinary incontinence. Whole department devoted to it. So definitely worth asking.

Expect someone else will be able to suggest a surgeon. You may have explored other options already - surgery's a bit drastic. The problem might not be as bad as you think.

Any nice lover wouldn't even notice/care but it is important - you deserve to feel good about yourself.

At least you are still interested in sex. I am one of many women said bye bye to their libidos post childbirth!
Womanly solidarity!

What a lovely reply - thank you - I've felt so alone through all this time. Kegels haven't helped, even with an electric device(!)
(Actually I think there is a similar device for the botty! You might like to check on win-health
www.win-health.com/neurotrac-myoplus4-emg-stimulator.html which can have an anal probe - but you may need advice!)

My gp is lovely but only knows local people and I just want someone who understands, the surgeon I have been seeing has reduced me to tears several times. Its a problem for me too as well as potential partners - the sex just didn't feel - well - much at all really. But its been a while since I've seen my gp so yes I should try again - thank you again - and if anyone else has any comments I'd be happy to hear
thanks again
