Im panicking.

He has never had a sickness bug before. I am worried about him and feel so sorry for him but most worried about the baby catching it, she is only 8 weeks. I am very very very worried she will become seriously ill.

I dont really know why Im posting, I just wondered if anyone could offer reassurance of any kind?

Give him water to keep hydrated but lay off the food for a while. Calpol will bring his temperature down. If you are all in the same house hold then avoidance of germs is hard. If you are bf-ing then your baby's immunity will be good but don't worry, children do get ill.Smile

No don't feel guilty - you are still caring for your children properly. Her immune system will be boosted by yours if you are doing some bf.

Tuck your DS up on the sofa (with a bowl) and don't panic.

Babies are resilient - people have been having them for years Smile. Sometimes a horrible bug in adults and children materialises in babies as nothing more than a snotty nose.

Ok, so overnight his temp has been very night and he has been screaming with tummy ache. No more sickness so far (touch wood etc)

Dd has been horrendously sick this morning - she does very occasionally do that anyways though so am trying not to panic.

Tbh though I am very worried esp about dd catching it / having already caught it.
