Ive seen lots of reference to the mooncup on this forum and it seems to be a bit of an iffy subject. Ive checked out the mooncup website and thinks it looks interesting, can any of you lovely ladies shed any light on the matter.

The last thread about it went into a lot of detail-will bump for you!

Depends on how squeamish you are. They are better for the environment and work out cheaper than tampons.

does it really work ? I have endometriosis and can be very very heavy - worried about flooding

PrettyCandles · 21/09/2005 13:44

Highly recommend! Look, if you've given birth then you can deal with the squeamishness, and with this you don't have to do it in front of an audience.

In any case, if you buy from the Mooncup website, they have (at least they had when I bought) a no-quibbles return at anytime for your money back guarantee. They even ask you to try it for at least 3 months before returning, so you've nothing to lose there.

Don't know much about endometriosis, but I'm sure that my periods are lighter and shorter now that I use a Mooncup.

.... purely using this emoticon for the green colour.

I love mine. I don't understand the squeamishness to be honest. I switched to using the Mooncup about five years ago and wondered why on earth it has taken so long to produce such a simple and effective thing.
