Hi Sparkle,
I'm sorry you find yourself in this situation. Yes there is a group of us who support each other and I find the group extremely useful. Have a look on the Tamoxifen thread and you'll find us.
Your condition could ne completely benign. However if you are diagnosed with cancer you'll find a lot of support. On the thread we've all been diagnosed with breast cancer in the last couple of years and its a thread you can ask any questions/ express your feelings/ just chat with others who'll understand what its like.
I was diagnosed last December and had a lumpectomy, lymph node clearance, 7 months of chemo plus 3 weeks radiotherapy. But I've got through it all and just started back at work, and all the others will be able to tell you their stories too.
I know it is really ghastly at the start - my mind was reeling all over the place and I cried every day. But after a few weeks it gets easier, and I learned not to panic. Try to take one step at a time, and deal with what you know, not every possible scenario as that way is impossible to deal with IME.
The women on the thread have had various different types of cancer and treatment - and even if you find you do have cancer, you'll find us a friendly lot who can hand-hold.
But meanwhile, of course it might well be something benign so as I say, try not to panic - easier said than done I know. Have someone with you when you go to the clinic as it can be hard to take in what is said, and if it is bad news, its better to have some support.
I also breast-fed by the way. No history of BC in my family - its just rotten luck.
