I am dieting and eating more healthy, however i am quite a fussy person so stick to just a few meals really. Since starting this i have become 'windy' Blush.

I have been excercising (brisk 1 hour walking 5 times a week) and drinking lots and lots of water but something is making me bloat. My 6lb weight loss is making my tummy look even bigger!

I am eating lots of porridge would this be the cause? other things are tomato soup, and more ready brek..and tomato soup.

What is a could fixer of wind?? Smile

Well done on the weight loss and exercise! Sounds brilliant. I am Envy

It sounds like you are having a lot of insoluble fibre which can definitely cause bloating and wind.
Are you having enough protein?
Also in general to help with wind, eat as slowly as possible because swallowing air with food is a prime suspect Smile

Hiya, I find that when starting a diet, and eating all those mega-healthy foods like porridge, wholemeal stuff, weetabix etc.....I also get windy, but it does tend to ease off after a few weeks, once your body gets used to all the 'extra' fibre Smile

I am usually very windy (complaints have been made by DH) but I found when I tried cutting out carbs on a short lived diet my farts were zero. I do eat loads of bread, pasta and rice normally.

I use peppermint, you can get cordial or use the flavouring and make into a warm drink and sip.
