I have a tickling feeling on a small patch of my scalp, that comes and goes but is always in exactly the same place. It feels like there's an insect crawling around in my hair right at the roots but ... honestly ... there's nothing there. Been going on for a week or two now.

Any ideas Grin?

Shave the area around it and selloptape a piece of bacon to your baldy bit. If it is a worm it will be tempted by the aroma and you can dig the rest of it's body out when it comes to feed. If you don't have a parasite, you will attract passing builders. It's a win win situation.

mistressploppy · 08/10/2010 09:48

HA HA HA at Kreecher! Grin

madonnawhore · 08/10/2010 15:50

I have exactly the same thing! So strange. This is going to sound even weirder but does it happen more just before your period?

So surprised that someone else gets this too.

Suncottage · 08/10/2010 15:51

I think it is a ghost running its fingers through your hair

Snorbs · 08/10/2010 16:15

Bot-fly larvae.

FerrisBueller · 08/10/2010 16:16

lice

OutrageousFlavourLikeFreesias · 08/10/2010 22:25

Could it be this?

Formication

I think it can sometimes be triggered by hormonal fluctuations (apparently a symptom of menopause?).

HowsTheSerenity · 08/10/2010 22:28

Fornication just seems so much better
