Has anyone heard of this term before?

Mum was told she has one, I've googled it and can't find any info.

Anyone?

Astigmatism?

Don't know if this is the same thing but I have to have a prism in my glasses. It's because I don't have binocular vision, for some people it can be corrected by adjusting the centres in glasses but that isn't very comfortable for me so I have prisms built into the lenses.

Is that any use?

It isn't astigmatism jalopy but thank you.

Hmmm DL it could be something to do with that. I will just google it!

Thanks

A prism is put into the glasses to adjust a squint. And a squint is when both eyes are not looking in exactly the same direction and can be corrected by surgery to the muscles controlling the eye movement.
