what is it????? my DH is just been told he's got it. he's got to have two weeks of his knee strapped up then if that doesn't work (doubtful as he's already done 8 months of strenghtening exercises) then he's off to litchfield for 3 weeks (a physio/rehab centre) for intensive beastings, then if that doens't work it's an operation.

what's the worst that can happen? does anyone know anyone who's had the op and been OK? (he's in the army by the way)

(see the plasters yesterday and they seem to help him when standin but he walks on the outside of his foot, and this is also a problem, I'm bloody worried sick if they operate on his knee as they'd need to cut the hamstring and take a chunk out so could end up with his knee not bending)

Old fashioned word for this is Double Jointed!

NomDePlume · 07/09/2005 10:21

It means that your joints bend backwards a bit. My elbows have it. It just means that they have a greater degree of movement.

well that's what I said to him mean's he's DJ, and he said no it's not cos it's really really painful in the one knee.

It will be painfull as he perhaps pulled or has lax ligaments in that knee.

I don't know what's goin on i'm scared stiff if he has the op won't be able to walk. it doens't bother me in the respect of having to do stuff for him etc.. but it will kill him as he's a fairly active person, and besides which - how will we cope?
