Not really a health thread, but what sort of things could I crochet that could be usefully donated to a hospital or similar?

I love crochet, and admittedly I tend to have many projects on the go at the same time, but I was wondering if there were small easy things I could donate to a hospital, I'd like to feel like I was doing something useful I see a lot of talk of it on American sites. I could make hats (for adults or children/babies), little toys or open to ideas really.

Anything that might be useful?

Speak to your SCBU and see if they need any tiny hats, or cardigans. I know our local SCBU has a group of women who knit hats.

Littlefish is right, that's a great idea.

Another idea may be to crochet small blankets, i know my local SCBU use lots of them, rolled up around the babies to keep them snug, they also put them into memory boxes for babies who have died, so that they can be wrapped in them.

Yes, ring your local hospital & ask if they need anything you can make.

I love knitting and contacted mine but they don't take hand made gifts Sad.

Instead, they suggested I take them to a charity shop or sell them & donate the proceeds to the hospital.
