He had the following last week

At two months old:

?Diptheria, tetanus, pertussis (whooping cough), polio and Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) (DTaP/IPV/Hib) - one injection
?Pneumococcal infection - pneumococcal conjugate vaccine (PCV) - one injection

and a few days later slowly has come out in a red raised rash across his chest and down his arms... doc says its eczema ...i believe clearly its from the jabs... has this happened to anyone else???

What can we put on other than dr precribed emolient???

Dreading second course of jabs, incase they make it worse - can anything be done to avoid and have single jabs?

Pls read the contents of the link below - distressing evidence of ppls real life experiences with jabs etc - any advice greatly apppreciated - last thing we need is this worry - wife had forceps delivery/epistiotomy wound/infection/tissue granulation - and is still in immense pain awaiting reconstruction surgey. Thx to any that reply

There are no singles available for the early ones. If you decide to continue vaxing you could delay them fr a while and spread them out a bit more. The schedule is just a recommendation, you don't HAVE to stick to it. Despite what some people may tell you, these diseases are not rampant in society so there is no harm in delayng until you can research the diseases and make an educated decision about what you want to do.

Look at symptoms of the diseases, incidence rates, risks associated with them etc. You can find this info on the HPA website or the WHO website. Try to look for official sources because these always hold more water when you attempt to explain your decision to others :) Good luck :)

also, get a new doctor! :)

it is possible that the rash is related to the vaccine, but usually it is not called eczema until the child is much older and a certain pattern is formed.
you can report the reaction here.
if the skin is red and inflamed steroid creams should be used to prevent the skin breaking and infection taking hold. use plenty of moisturiser all over baby.

Just as an FYI - whale.to is NOT a recommended source of medical information. Among the gems on that website: HIV does not cause AIDS and that adultery causes breast cancer. Hmm

Sorry about your little boy. I would go and see another doctor and post the reaction on the link that mousy mouse said.

hiya i know whale .com lol that was just a quick pointer showing that ppl are making noise, adultery = cancer is just ridiculous! Dont really want to put a steroid cream on they thin the skin but dr has not prescribed one yet just diprobase emolient, we put it on about 5 times a day, when we see it getting dry - should we wake up at night to put it on? he generally sleeps through the night waking up once around 4 a.m for a quick bfeed. thx 4 the list of websites - just trying to find real life expereinces of ppl who have not immunised or selectively chosen which jabs to immunise with -

Ive got an appointment to see this chap
