Have seen a nurse this morning regarding my blocked ear. She said I need to buy eardrops and use them for 10 days to dissolve the hardened ear wax.
I have been checking on line different eardrops but cannot decide which one to buy.

There is Otex express ear drops www.boots.com/en/Otex-express-ear-drops-10ml_641573/?exploreAttributes=----------Best%20Match--List--%27Search%3A%20All%27-------_-%2712%27

Then there is Earol Ear Wax Remover Olive Oil Spray 10ml www.amazon.co.uk/Earol-Remover-Olive-Spray-10ml/dp/B001E5CF0S/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1284545589&sr=8-3

And the traditional one Cerumol Ear drops www.amazon.co.uk/Cerumol-Ear-drops/dp/B0017TLAWU/ref=sr_1_12?ie=UTF8&s=drugstore&qid=1284546084&sr=8-12

Has anyone tried any excellent drops? Many thanks!

At out surgery they do not syringing ears anymore as it is considered to dangerous,

I have been referred to ent at the hospital where they will do a micro suction which is really like a tiny hoover. hope it works.

When I had a problem with my ears I was told to use olive oil and not over the counter wax removers as they can be irritating.

And don't use cotton buds as they compress the wax and make it worse

Yes to avoiding cotton buds - the inner third of your ear canal doesn’t actually produce wax so if there’s wax there, it’s been shoved in by cotton buds!

You can get your hearing tested in Specsavers etc and it’ll tell if it’s a “getting old” loss or not.

Go for microsuction. You'll have to pay. Various private clinics but the Clear Ear Clinic in London was life hanging. No need for drops beforehand.
Syringing can be damaging I understand, so some surgeries won't do it any longer ...

Hi all.

I am in need of some advice and hopefully some succes stories. I am 27 years old and my partner is 40, we have been trying to conceive for the past 2 years and are currently undergoing treatment at a private fertility clinic in London. We have been diagnosed with unexplained infertility, I have had all to the necessary tests done and my partner has had a sperm test too wish was normal. I have had a unsuccessful clomid cycle, 1 unsuccessful letrozole with trigger cycle. This cycle I have had letrozole 5mg with hcg shot and cycolgest 400mg for 14 days, I am in the 2ww.

Is anyone undergoing the same treatment or any advice, success stories please.
