Anyone out there with experience of this? back pain started after camping trip..put it down to sleeping position. Physio diagnosed problem and it feels slightly easier. Have had it for 4 weeks now and would love to know how long it will take to get completely better.

oooh I sympathise. Did physio say one of your hips was higher than the other or something like that?

I think she implied that and the manipulation she did in the hip area seemed to be aligning them. Luckily not back at work yet as i teach so feeling fine pottering about. Hope to go camping with the family over the bank holiday but don't want to aggravate it!

I would still take it easy. I know I have a twisted pelvis but I had it in pregnancy and am 6 months pp and am still not right. Mine was caused by hormones and was termed spd as all my pelvis was 'out'. I don't really have many tips for you, but walking causes me to be in a lot of pain, I'm not sure if this is the same for you. Please take it really easy, camping on a hard surface can be painful - have you a blow up bed or something to ease the sleeping? x

Crikey.. your's sounds more serious. Will have to invest in one of those deeper inflatable mattresses i think. Do you go to a pysio still?

yeah still at physio and thank god it does seems to be easing up a bit, but it's taking a long time. Enjoy your camping xxx

I have one from having my babies and pushing them out too quick. My osteopath says it is pretty common and comes partly from us standing on 2 feet.
