presumably CF is well and truly sacked off now there's BSNN in the frame?

I've got ingredients for sweet potato veggie burgers, but can't get a start on it till DH gets home as I left the recipe book in the car. Oops, as though I can figure out what to do, I don't remember any of the quantities!

hope your DS is better soon SAF

best of british for tomorrow Alice!

saf Grin. you could always go a bit pastel - only wooden toys, no soft play at all next time round? soft plays are the devil's work. you have to spend squillions to get in, then squillions on coffee/cake/mags to tolerate being in them. and the food is usually both grim and overpriced.

Alicetheinvisible · 18/08/2010 18:13

Hello, having 5mins while DD is parked in front of the telly and dinner is cooking.

I actually like the soft play places i have been to, mostly because they are small, and DD is so independant i can just sit back with a magazine and listen out for any whinging Grin

Have made a huge lasagne for dinner that i am hoping will do friday night too (DD and DH can have pizza tomorrow) bags are packed, had a little spree in M&S food on 'essential' items (posh fruit juice, yummy cheese twists, snacky cakes for babysitters etc)

Evening all. DC in bed, I have a cold beer. Sweet alcohol numbs the pain.

Saf, I must apologise again for the terrible behaviour of DS. We have had A Talk.

saf - defo do the 3 X 5 hours. as that means less nursery runs to do, a better chunk of time to yourself, and the freedom to take off for the day with DS if you want during termtime.

double - I have a solution for sweet substitutes - next time do carrot cake or flapjacks. as that's even kind of healthy, what could be better than carrots and/or oats Grin

sweet potato things in oven - doubt DS will touch it, so will probably do him some pasta or baked beans or something... (DS is the fussiest eater known to man....)
