What do you have for lunch? Perhaps you need something filling like a jacket potato and tuna with salad

SleepySuzy · 25/08/2005 19:28

Could be low in iron, and need something filling, like wholemeal bread, or pasta or as compo says jacket spud to keep your energy.

break it into breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks because if you're craving sugar you might not be balancing the food adequately during the day

(say I huge big heifer)

I used to have a lull at 4pm. Quit the sugary stuff so your body gets back to it's normal levels. Then only in moderation, you should find that the palpatations should ceese)sp?)

pruni - your lifestyle/diet sounds very similar to mine... I was seeing a nutritionist to help with tiredness and lack of energy, and she suggested fruit at 4pm with some protein. I don't eat masses of fruit but I like grapes so I make a plate of grapes and cubes of cheese - sometimes with a cracker or two. This keeps me going until dinnertime after the kids have gone to bed.
Breakfast for me is museli - with some organic yoghurt and chopped up strawberries - bit more filling and interesting than just museli with milk. It was suggested to have a fruit/yoghurt smoothie somedays but I wouldn't do that kind of thing in the morning I'm too lazy!
You could always have egg on a piece of wholegrain toast
