Are you keeping an eye on your constituency in the Exit Poll? Massive changes in Surrey for Example. Esher and Epsom & Ewell both changing hands - from Tory to Lib Dem. Reigate remaining blue.

Note how, overall, Labour are winning this grand majority on a smaller share of the vote than Theresa May when she LOST her majority in 2017. It is the splintering of the non Labour vote that is handing Starmer this big majority.
In fact - and we'll await the final numbers - Labour's share of the vote may even be lower than Jeremy Corbyn's share of the vote in 2017 - when Labour actually came second.

And in the first seat to declare - Houghton & Sunderland South (a safe Labour seat) - Reform have beaten the Tories to second place. Sums up the night to come really.

Early results - and they are still early (as only 2 constituencies have declared) - seem to be indicating the Exit Poll may well have been too generous to the Conservatives. According to the Exit Poll, Labour are on 410 and Tories on 131. Already disastrous for Tories, but early results would indicate the final tally could be worse (for the Conservatives, that is). But the night is still young, we need to see more constituency numbers.
