YouGov latest poll (3rd July) is saying that the following Cabinet Ministers look set to lose their seats:

Steve Baker
Johnny Mercer

Labour also likely to take out Boris' old seat, Iain Duncan Smith and Jacob Rees-Mogg. Liz Truss is a toss up between Con and Lab.

It'll be interesting to come back on Friday morning and see how many were right.

Exit poll says there's a 77% chance that our constituency is staying Tory which is very disappointing but not surprising.

I'm disappointed as our Labour candidate was much more visible, more honourable in his campaigning (compared to the incumbent) and just generally seemed a decent guy overall.

My constituency is too close to call 51/49 Lib Dem Gain from Con.

My MP has clung on, which is very disappointing, but not that surprising as people seem to love him here.

I’ll update once I’ve had breakfast, but my MP has lost by about 500 votes and I see Liz Truss has just gone 🥳

Also, Iain Duncan-Smith held on to his seat, but Jacob Rees-Mogg lost to Labour.

The Lib Dem gain from Michael Tomlinson was tiny. He is completely and utterly useless, consistently votes to harm his constituency, completely uncontactable, honestly rubbish.

The small majority is because the Lib Dem candidate is equally as bad. I've voted Lib Dem all my life I should be delighted that they won.

We moved from the area a couple of years ago after a long time there and I looked recently to see who the Lib Dem candidate was. I was surprised to see she was running - thought she would give up after the last couple of elections. I did vote for her previously but wasn’t very impressed and I hear her time at BCP has not gone well. I did wonder if he might win again and relieved to see he hasn’t.
