Ok maybe I'm being too simplistic, but wouldn't it be nice if once the results are all confirmed we can have a sensible conversation with each other about what happens next and how we move forwards together? All without the cries of "Up yours losers!" or "We're doomed!" 😜

Let's face it, all of us (yes even the politicians) want what is best for our families, friends and the country as a whole, we just have different opinions on how to go about achieving that.

If the people are right who keep telling us that Labour is just a bunch of red Tories, Conservative voters don't need to be disappointed whatever happens. Just don't panic about the apocalyptic warnings from the more partisan media, take a deep breath and see what actually happens. It's what we'll all be doing, after all. It's just as likely that we Lefties will be disappointed, but hopefully there'll be something to benefit (almost) everyone in the next 5 years

The only ones I probably won't be able to help being triumphalist at are the more demented Reform supporters.

We’re going to be erased apparently. Keir Starmer’s going to send some trans women round to all our houses to annihilate us.

Honestly, i'd happily be erased for a little bit. I really could do with some peace and quiet. Maybe it'll be like Avengers and i can pop back into existence in 5 years?
