A question for you all - if MP says they are not standing at GE, how long does it take to get another candidate veted and added to ballot paper? I'm hoping, given the numbers that they might have seats which they won't actually have a candidates for.

Deadline for nominations is 4pm on the 7th June. Given how many seats they have left to fill + rumours that a lot more will be announcing they are standing down this weekend I’d imagine not much vetting will be happening.

To clarify...Cameron will be parachuted in as pm/ leader of tories
