Unusual names

Been reading the thread about twin girls named Diesel and Levi and thinking with fondness of some of the more exotic names that have cropped up in my research.
Gypsy families often have very different names. Cinderella, Freedom, Fairlander or Fairlinda or Pharalinda, Brittania are female examples. Goliath was a nice male one.
Just found a whole rash of Philadelphias (female) often shortened to Philly.
Whole family of H's Henry Humphrey, his wife Hannah and their children, Harriet, Hodiah, Heber, Henry, Hammoleketh.
Woman called Hamilton Campbell, I love that. Her mothers maiden surname was Hamilton. She is in Cath Kidston's family tree. Female Hamiltons all the way through it ever after.

I have found Alethea (female), Rice (Male), Gullimus (Male), Marmaduke (male), Gaylord (male).

I'm sure there's a few others too but these are the ones that spring to mind

Hay, Denholm and Oskar in Scotland about the same time

cdtaylornats my mother has told me in the past that it was very common in Scotland to change a fathers name to the feminine, often in rather clunky ways, for a daughter.
She had school friends called Davina and Davida for example. Not too bad, Davida got shortened to Vida.

I've come across a Jago (Cornish I think), an Amos and a Mercy.

Leondina (great grandmother, S Italy, fam owned an estate), Aquilina (Leo's sister, originally supposed to marry Leo's husband Ludovico), Carmine (Leo's brother).
Ulla (my Swedish granny).

My dad's paternal family tree goes back to 15smth (or further, I never really cared that much. Yes, I'm terrible...) but I do know that there was a Hedwig, an Adalbert and other clunky names like this.

Nebuchadnezzar I've found a few times! And Mordecai. Have never managed to link them to my family though. There is also a man with the first name Pearl who I am sure is linked to my family, but I just can't quite prove it yet.

Currently researching a branch of the family that features a Horatio, a Dulcibella, a Bartholomew and an Ebenezer.
I have a distant relation who was born at sea and had the middle name of Neptune. Also a relative who was the tenth child and had the middle name Decima.

Freedom as a name? This is actually a good idea
