Which wireless scanner/copier to get?

Can anyone recommend a wireless scanner/ copier/ printer workable with Windows Vista please? It would be used first and foremost to scan and copy documents for my small business and secondarily for scanning photos.

Looked on Amazon and saw HP Office Jet Pro 8500 Wireless all in one multi function etc etc model but some of the reviews were dreadful, indicating a problem with paper feed and a possible issue with Windows Vista.

We've got wireless broadband and have 3 PCs that would use the scanner but if it made more sense, I'd look into a non-wirelss one and buy the children a separate one for their own use.

Has anyone got any recommendations please?

I can recommend the HP Photosmart Premium (C309g). It is a Which? best buy (74%) and gets great reviews. I primarily use it for my business but it is also great for printing photos etc. Wireless connectivity works well and you can get it for the bargain price of £90 in Currys/Comet or the equivalent.

It was a bit of a pain to install but love it now and works fine with Vista.

Incidentally, the printer you are looking at gets great reviews in Which? too (70% and a best buy).

Be careful with HP machines. I think (certainly the ones we looked at a couple of days ago hwhich were admittedly wired) use a 3 in one ink cartridge...We have just bought this from Tesco for £38. It is fab (well from 20mins use). I had a very similar Epson before which lasted yonks. The colours can all be bought individually...so you don't have to replace them all when you use up all of the cyan.

When we looked Epson inks got better reviews in terms of price and quality. And apparently cheap refills for epson are just as good as originals which is (apparently) not true of HP if you want to go down that route.

I have hooked it up to my main PC which is a desktop, but can access it from laptop over a WiFi (Desktop does have to be switched on). Not sure if I can access scan functions from laptop - haven't tried. In any case even if you bought 3 of these for each of 3PCs would still be less expensive that the one HP.
