Where is best to purchase blank dvds from?

I use Aprmedia but I don't know if they are the best.

For putting them onto DVD it depends what format they are in.

If already a DVD5 (around 4.3gb) or they are individual AVI files for example then Imgburn is good.

If they are too big then dvd shrink is good.

Both are free and worth having anyway.

If they are AVIs which many prefer because they are quick to download then you can put as many on one DVD as will fit (a dozen perhaps) using imgburn.

Not all DVD players will play AVIs though if you have an older one. If they have DIVX on the front somewhere they will.

You can get blank DVDs from Asda or Tescos.

If its an AVI file you'll probably need to convert it to an mpeg file - I do to play them on my DVD players. I use some software called Roxio, you can get it from Amazon. Its easy to use.

You can also download software from the internet but most you have to pay a subscription to. Sothink Video converter is one, might even be free actually. Google for avi to mpeg convertor.
