Hi...
anyone know what that is all about...first thought it is a problem with the wireless mouse I am using with my laptop....but, when it does it, it will also do it using the touchpad...

it's not doing it all the time...
anyone know?

They may be lots of reasons. Have you recently updated mouse drivers perhaps? installed anything new at all?

I'd run a scan with your virus checker just in case.

I shall do that, thanks!
And yes, laptop new so put quite a few programmes on, incldung wireless mouse....oddly enough it stopped the flickering since left my E-mail account...

also, pc was rather low in battery, as ds had run it without plugging it in....could it have been that?

mucky mouse or mousemat

If only happening in that one place I think you can blame it on them. Some side effect of constantly changing adverts etc.

The low battery thing I'm told is a common cause, but I suppose then it would do it all the time.
If you got drivers and other software for the mouse from a CD it may be a bit out of date (they could have made that CD ages ago) so it's worth looking for updated drivers on a website. You need to google or post the name/model number of the mouse.

Just remembered that it does it with the touchpad too. No harm in looking for updated drivers for both, but it looks like it's the website's fault

seems to have sorted itself...for now....
but thanks for the tips!
