Highlight everything in address bar after the (so the bit beginning www.mumsnet.com).

Ctrl+C to copy

Open thread where you want to post a link to the first thread.

In the "add your message here" box, type to paste in the address. Type a space followed by whatever you want to appear as the link text. Type.
