hI, I know nothing about thses things. What is the diff? We have 10yr old triplets who are constantly fighting over who gets on the computer! We were thinking of buying a laptop, mainly because its portable, so Rebecca could use it in her room, away from the boys. If we but a pc it would have to go in the boys room as there is a desk in there, then they would not let het in! Boys like to play games, but been told that unless we spend around £700 they won`t be able to play the newer games on something costing around £3-400, is that so? Any ideas, or anyone know of any current good deals please?

a notebook is the current term for a "laptop" I think - on the grounds that using it as a laptop can cause burns becuase of hte heat.

I could be wrong though.

no difference.. some say potato and some say.. well you get what I mean...

The only other item that is different from the above is a 'tablet' this is just a screen that you can write on

Historically, notepads were smaller than laptops. Not much difference now.

Thanks you. We are also looking at buying mt dughter one of those graphic pads she could use as she is very arty, use them with a pc. So would the notepad do that anyway?
