Newbie Mac user - need some direction please!

I had a wonderful surprise on Xmas morning when I opened my present from my husband and found he had bought me a Mac laptop.

I am gradually finding my way around but it is so different frm windows! Just wondered if you could point me in the right direction for a good book or web site for a newbie like me to get the most out of this computer in the quickest possible time!!!

McDreamy, if you live near an Apple Store (list here) they do training and workshops. My Ma took her new laptop to the Southampton one before Christmas to get her started and I think it's helped her just get a basic grounding. She's thinking about doing a longer course now as she doesn't want to bother my DH too much.

Anyway, lucky you for having one for Christmas - hope you're enjoying Leopard
