How to ensure clarity in handwritten text for input?

When writing down emails, urls, passwords, etc, there are ways of differentiating between digits and letters, eg a slash through a zero to make it clear that it's not a letter O, serifs on a one to make it clear that it's not a lowercase L.

Is there any way to make the difference clear between the lower and upper case letters that can look very similar?

You can usually tell what they are from the context.

Which specific letters and numbers are you having a problem with?

Passwords with letter and number combinations, eg ch0Co1ate. Typically letters that are similar lc and uc, just different size or straight rather than curves oO0, lI1, s, w, v, y, or letters that can be confused because of sloppy handwriting, eg A4, Z2, S5.

Size. If I write a password I make capitals bigger than lower case. It helps.

Yes, I do that, too. The context, however, is sloppy or too quick handwriting. Also when read or written by someone whose first language has a non-Roman alphabet.
