What's the best one to use? Specifically I want to be able to cut out parts of one picture and stick it onto another.

Dunno but I'd like to.

Surely someone must know?

Come on technical gods and goddesses - where are you? Help us poor innocents...

paint.net is good and free as well but depends really what you actually want. i also have (atm) photoshop and photoshop elements.

musicianswidowAKAmumofmonsters · 01/07/2007 18:51

paint.net here

Scootergrrrl · 01/07/2007 18:53

I've had some pictures taken of the monsters and you can buy all the pix on disc and play about with them. I want to take one child off one picture and one off the other and stick them together as one image.
It's all on a white background so that should be easy enough if I can cut one out and replace it on the other pic... if that makes any sense at all...

i think i know what you mean. in that case paint.net may not help as there is no free hand cut iyswim. You could do it in layers though. if the DCs are in diff positions then it should be relatively easy to do it the layering way (which you can do on paintdotnet)

EntryO · 01/07/2007 19:24

I can do it for you if you want. DH is out tonight so I am just chilling . Email me on littlelapin at gmail.com

Photoshop Cs

errrmmm... ...do you want to pay for it?? If yes then something like PaintShop Pro from corel.com which is about £30.. ...amazon always used to be cheaper than Corel weirdly.

Microsoft have a bunch of stuff now that is very nicely priced and works beautifully..

...and if you don't fancy shelling out cash to the great Uncle Bill then have a look at www.gimp.org/windows/ at the Windows version of The Gimp (GNU Image Manipulation Program) which does a ton of the things Photoshop does but without the ridiculous price tag...

MerlinsBeard · 03/07/2007 19:55

does gimp have photomerge? or photostitch or anything like that? thats what i am missing from photoshop

Shoshable · 03/07/2007 19:59

will that work in photoshop? i may sound like i know what i am talking about but really i am blagging lol! basically i want to take a series of pictures and stitch them together to make one long picture if that makes sense? I have a trial of photoshop elements which does it perfectly but, like all trials, it is only valid for 30 days!
