How do I secure my wireless connection?

It's all set up and working fine but I want to secure it so neighbours can't access it.

Anyone know how I go about this?

You should have a 15 digit(ish) WAP key from your supplier. You need to key it when you choose the network you want to connect to. It should ask you to do this automatically. Noone else can get on without the WAP key, but it is worth investing in a firewall as well.

Oops, that should be WEP or WPA key.

somersetmum is right....this is something you should be able to do during setup or if you go into the settings on your router. Your ISP (BT Broadband or whoever you're with) should have instructions on how to do this. Sometimes the WEP key is on a sort of barcode sticker on the bottom of your router. However, you can change it to whatever you want. You can also specify an SSID for your connection and choose not to broadcast (which is the default) - not really secure, but a good start.
