Translating Irish into English

Hello I'm hopeful that someone could translate this phrase into English for me "Na caoin mar ta se os a chionn, aoibn ghaire mar a tharla se. There are accents above the a's in na, ta and ghaire also above the e's in se.
If anyone could translate this it would be much appreciated as it be incorporated into a tattoo design.

Google Translate went for: "The cry because it's over, smile because it happened" but noted that aoibn should be aoibh - that's without any accents, though. The quote apparently is Don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened so the accent on the Na is crucial Ná caoin means don't cry.

I'd put the whole original phrase into Google Translate and make sure this is approximately right, I'm sure some Irish speakers will be along to clarify.
