Some may have heard that Lenovo was in the news, because many of their consumer products, for a while, were being shipped with some software called "Superfish". This was a commercial deal (Superfish paid Lenovo), where Superfish was allowed to "inject" adverts into web sites, and that also included "secure" ( https ) websites, such as payment services, banks, shopping services (and as a result, the encryption and security of a browser's link to the original website was compromised or disabled).
Now it appears that Superfish also had deals with dozens of other firms and that may include software for games, and even parental control over a computer, according to *> an article on the Guardian website.
