Has anybody had their browser "hijacked" by this programme? I just can't seem to get rid of it. I've uninstalled it via add/remove programmes. I've removed it from the add-ons section in IE. I've run a search for MyStart, Incredibar, and Babylon (all of which it can apparently be called) and my computer say's it's not there. I've run Anti-Malware software. Yet it still comes back. When I open IE, it seems fine, but as soon as I go to search via the address bar, it revers back to Incredibar, even though Google is set as my default search engine. Help!

Try this. Also, some removal sites indicate there is an extra component to delete from your computer. It appears to be called Web Assistant. I would link to one of the sites direct but it suggests you download a program which, after a bit of digging, is flagged as Scareware.

Alternatively reset your computer to a date you know it was clean. Then use IE to download Firefox.

The instructions the previous poster links to are good. However, rather than just uninstalling the items listed you need to uninstall anything where the publisher is one of the companies named. That will include Web Assistant if that is installed, along with any other components of this particular adware.

Note that Firefox is as vulnerable to this particular malware as IE so installing it is unlikely to make any difference. IE10 is actually, according to security experts, the best browser at blocking malware, although its security in other areas is less good. Many rate Firefox highly for security but Pwn2Own, an annual event where hackers try to compromise browsers, found that it is by far the least secure browser. I'm afraid there is no easy answer.
