Hi, I'm an A level teacher and want to set up a little site so that my students can access files. I've tried the Google site builder but must be thick as I really struggled to get anywhere with it. Can anyone recommend one?

Incaminka, have you used Weebly? Can you have pages within pages? On the top toolbar I want AS Coursework, AS Exam, A2 Coursework, A2 Exam, then when you click on the topic area you want, I want to be able to have lots of other options, eg Task 1, Task 2 etc.

Do you know if it can do that? I've been fiddling around but can't see a way, though it seems obvious there should be a way.

I'm assuming here that you currently work in a school (sorry if I'm assuming incorrectly).

Has your school got a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE)/Moodle? That should allow you to do what you want. Might be worth speaking to the IT department about it?

Just a suggestion :)

I use Google Sites for website management... but why can't you use Dropbox (or similar) to do file access for your students? It is designed for that sort of thing so if you have not tried it I think it would be worth giving it a go.

Before choosing a suitable drag and drop website builder, you should do your own research and play with several builders. Though playing around with their free versions will help you narrow down choices. I personally can recommend you to take a closer look at Wix, Weebly and Squarespace that I consider to be very intuitive build.
