You're welcome! And I didn't take your post as rude, just frustrated!!!

Have you ever used the function wizard in excel? It's the fx button. It helps explain what you need to put in each bit of the function. It can be quite useful.

I think that's what got me into the mess Blush

I'm now on table of contents in word Hmm

I need gaps between the entries

I'll bow out at this point, I find word very frustrating!!!

Although have you tried right clicking on the table of contents and seeing if there is a format option?

Nope I'm back on excel

Is this
=MAX(ROUNDUP(((C4/8)-2)*Wage,0),0)

Different to this
=MAX(ROUNDUP((C6/4)*Wage,0),0)

Because the first one works & the second doesn't Sad

Format the paragraph style of the T1, T2 etc...contents entries so they have a 6 or 12 PT gap (you may be able to do this just by editing the paragraph style and see if it auto updates, or go into Styles)

KatyMac · 26/05/2012 10:23

Now =MAX((ROUNDUP(C6/4,0)*Wage)) works
