Problems with Scroll Lock in Excel 7 using Windows 7

I cannot seem to turn the Scroll Lock off in Excel 7 (using Windows 7). I need to use arrow/cursor keys to navigate around the spreadsheet. I've tried everything - function keys and scroll lock, on-screen keyboard - and nothing seems to work. Has anyone got any ideas, any help would be most gratefully received.

You may have inadvertently frozen the panes or split the panes- click on Window, then Unfreeze Panes or Remove Split.

Thanks Moose, but that's not the answer.
I've spent all day trying to get the arrow keys to navigate an Excel spreadsheet. Microsoft useless and Toshiba won't support an upgrade.
Scroll lock is on and I cannot turn it off.

This is purely a function of your laptop's keyboard, nothing to do with Excel or Windows. Try googling 'Toshiba Scroll Lock', possibly adding your model number for luck. You will probably find Fn+F12 is the answer.

Or reboot, scroll lock is usually reset on a reboot.

Thanks for replies/suggestions. Spent most of this morning with Microsoft on the phone. They told me this a known fault between Windows 7 and Toshiba laptops and they are "working on it together." They were pretty helpful, for Microsoft, and wrote me a macro - which if I run while in Excel lets me scroll around the spreadsheet using the arrow keys to my heart's content.

They even booked a call back with me for Thursday am, to see if everything was OK and if they could think of another way around the problem.
