So was thinking some big pots along the other fence on the grass? will this work and what could i grow? at the moment on my list i have blueberries can any one recomend any others?
also am i likely to get a tidal wave of bee's and wasp's as i dont mind a few but am phobic (not good for a gardener i know)
many thanks

I have some miniature apple and pear trees which are in pots. To be honest, the pear trees have never given any fruit but the apples have - quite a lot.

You can also grow plums, cherries and others. Have a look here

Good luck!

BDSM, I got interested in your miniature trees... do you know the name of your miniature apple tree?

Blackcurrants, gooseberries, redcurrants, figs, raspberries

We've just put our gooseberries in pots as we've run out of time to dig them a decent bed this season. Figs are best gron in pots - they need the root restriction to make them fuit. 'Ficus Brown Turkey' is the best one to go for.

I've read that raspberries won't work in pots, but I see no reason why most currant bushes wouldn't, especailly if you grow smaller varieties.
