Do ye not care about the hound?
Maybe he won't grow again??

Mummyfor3 · 06/05/2009 22:50

Yes, NOTHING will kill a clematis!!

The dog on the other hand....

I thought you meant the dog.

Clematis are pretty hardy.

the hound could sprout shoots himself the amount of things hes eaten in my garden! perhaps i'll 'plant' him. so leave it in then MUMMYFOR3

Yep, it will be fine.

My mum mistook my nicest clematis for a weed when she v kindly tidied the garden last autumn and pulled all the visible bits out - it is sprouting beautifully again, and I am hoping for at least some blooms later this summer .

oh my gosh, how can you mistake clematis for a weed? thats good to know. i have three flowered and one stump, so it looks really funny but hopefuly it wont take long to be beautiful again. thanks

Can I retell my best ever MN story?
Someone's dog ate a pair of her tights from the line, and when she looked out of her window, her toddler was energetically pulling them out of the dog's arse!

(Still makes me shake with laughter, that one.)
