Trellis above sloped wall, should we fix it straight or sloped?

We have an old brick wall opposite our back door where we want to put up some trellis for privacy.
Trouble is the garden is on a slope and the wall was built sloped rather than stepped down as it should be.
If we put in the trellis along the top of the wall it will look wonky from the house, but if we put it in straight it will look odd against the sloped brickwork.

Any ideas what we should do? Is there an accepted right/wrong way of doing this?

hmm I think I would put it sloped.

mmm sloped I think - but then you will have to fiddle with cutting the ends. Tough one.

I'd go for sloped. If you grow plants up it, then you won't really notice it. (you are going to put plants on it aren't you?)

Thanks.
Oh yes we are planting it up, have about 5 climbers already, waiting for when it is done!
Just worried it will look odd as when you look out you can see other straight/flat levels and our fence will look a bit drunk!
